Blessings upon you as we begin the start of this tremendous thoughtful Tuesday. We are recipients of the Lord’s mercy and outstanding grace. When people mistreat you, spread gossip about you or scandalize you, as Christians we are not to treat them the way that they treat us. As Christians we are encouraged to cultivate traits like love, humility, compassion, patience, and forgiveness, reflecting the teachings of Jesus and the principles of the Christian faith. We are therefore encouraged to cultivate those Christian traits that positively reflect Christ in our lives. “Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, accepting one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive. Above all, put on love — the perfect bond of unity.” Colossians 3:12-14 HCSB. Be blessed as you practice the principles.
