Thought for the day
Sunday 3/30/25
The Lord our God has blessed us to be able to see this sensational satisfying Sunday morning. Less than two weeks ago we experienced one day here in Chicago, where we received heat, rain, hail and a tornado. All of what we experienced in several seasons were experienced in that one single day. It was actually an abnormal weather experience. We had the privilege to enjoy summer, winter and spring on that one day. As I’m reminded of that event, I thought about how our lives, like the weather are subject to seasons and unfortunately, there are times in our lives when we are subject to all the seasons coming together. The one given fact about seasons is that they don’t last long. Each season has a limited duration. Seasons come and seasons go, we simply must learn how to survive our season. “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV. “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”Galatians 6:9 NKJV. Patience is a virtue given by God. Be blessed as you practice the principles.
