Thought for the day
Sunday 4/6/25
The Lord has blessed us once again to lay down last night and to awake early this morning to this simply special Sunday morning. How often do you think about how the Lord blesses you? For we are recipients of Gods many blessings, loving kindness and mercy. Many Christians become spiritually distracted in their faith walk. Such distractions cause us to lose our focus in pursuit of what is unimportant and not essential to the Kingdom of Heaven. As Christians we must be led by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.” Galatians 5:16-17 NIV. Spiritual distractions are the result of fleshly desires and the influence of the enemy to prevent us from maintaining a proper relationship with the Lord. So as you begin this sensational Sunday morning, don’t allow yourself to be distracted by focusing on the wrong things with the wrong motive. Be blessed as you practice the principles.
