Thought for the day
Monday 10/20/25
Good morning Saints, May the blessings of the Lord continually be found present in your life, especially on this marvelous magnificent Monday morning.
Life’s disappointments produce a sense of sadness resulting from our unfulfilled expectations. One moment, we celebrate life; the next, we feel knocked down by life’s unexpected disappointments.
It is easy to believe in the good times—when things are going great, prayers are getting answered, and God is obviously on our side. But just cut off the flow of blessings, squeeze our faith a little, push us out of our comfort zone, then take our spiritual temperature and see if we’re still on fire with faith.
We must have a higher perspective, or what some call a kingdom perspective. It means to view your life from Heaven’s perspective. Such was the case with Job when everything suddenly changed in one day. Life’s circumstances changed for Job, yet he never lost his perspective. His friends questioned him, his wife criticized him, but Job retained his spiritual perspective. “Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.” Job 1:20-21 NKJV. Don’t allow your circumstances to change your Kingdom perspective. For the Lord promised never to leave you nor forsake you. Be blessed as you practice the principles.
